Meals For The Elderly wins 2nd Place in the MOWAA Pet of the Year Contest!

Our nominee, Sandy Perez (chihuahua), was second only to Meals On Wheels of Tarrant County based in Ft. Worth, Texas.  This competition consisted of 27 pets from across the country and received over 2,000 votes total.  We are very proud of our standing and appreciate all who voted for Sandy!  

Through our new pet food program, our elderly clients receive packaged pet food on a regular basis so that their pets can remain a healthy and loving companion.

This program is funded through several grants received as well as through donations from the community. Funds specifically received for the pet food program do not intermingle with funds donated to help feed the homebound elderly.

Also, if you love animals, you can volunteer to deliver pet food at a time that is convenient for you! Pet food can be picked up during office hours and delivered any day during daylight hours one time a month. You can deliver to clients in your neighborhood or a whole route of clients. Please help us keep these pets fed.
