Anita and her husband Manuel have lived in San Angelo all their lives.  They have one daughter, Michele, her husband, Britt, and two adorable grandsons ages 10 and 6 years old.  She brings to Meals For The Elderly 28 years of excellent customer service working for GTE/Verizon here in San Angelo.  In her present position as Recipient Director of six years, Anita is responsible for assessment of seniors in Tom Green County for meals services and coordination of services for homebound clients.  She works hard to ensure all clients' needs are met.  Anita is active in the community serving on the Board of Directors for San Angelo Day Nursery, has volunteered for Adult Literacy Council, was a member of Business & Professional Women's Association and is very active in her church.  Anita's favorite pastime is traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.
