Ruth Wheeler is the Senior Vice President of First Financial Bank in San Angelo, where she has been employed for 33 years.  She holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Angelo State University.  She is married to her husband, Mike, and they have one daughter.

When asked about why she chose to help Meals For The Elderly, she responded, "Why did I become a board member?  The decision to say yes was easy.  Meals for the Elderly has always been my favorite community outreach program.  The program provides instant gratification to those who are in need, the staff is awesome and the rewards are many."
