Tina Stokes, a military brat, found her way to San Angelo in 1992 and has remained here ever since.  She loves the small town feel of the area and wanted her children to have one place to call home.  She is married to Jarrod Stokes, and together they have four children and four dogs. 

Tina is the Office Manager at San Angelo Packing Co., Inc., a family run Meat Packing plant.  She is also involved in their other facility, Four S Foods, LP, which is a retail and restaurant packaging plant.

Years ago, Tina received an invitation to “Big Wheels,” which is a yearly event giving community members the opportunity to run a delivery route with a current driver & introduce people to Meals for the Elderly.  From that moment, she was “hooked” and has run a Thursday route ever since.  She is the “punch girl” at Open House at Christmas and co-chairman of Mardi Gras.   

Tina loves delivering meals and has become close to some of the recipients.   She states, "The Meals staff and volunteer base is absolutely amazing.  I feel privileged to work with them on a regular basis.  I would like to see more people from my generation become more involved as we get so much more out of it than we give."
