Bad Art For A Good Cause

Your creativity can help put meals on the tables of local seniors.

Have you ever painted something you were proud of? Created a piece of pottery? Taken a beautiful photograph? Made something by hand that's been waiting for the right place to shine?

This could be that place.

Art for a Good Cause was inspired by Meals For The Elderly supporter Janet Ridgeway, an amateur artist who had a simple idea: What if people throughout our community donated something they created and used their creativity to help feed local seniors?

Now, we're inviting our community to do exactly that.

Our goal is to collect 100 donated works of original art that will be displayed and auctioned in support of Meals For The Elderly at our Dueling Pianos fundraiser on October 15, 2026.

You don't have to consider yourself an artist to participate. Maybe creating is your hobby. Maybe you make things on the weekends. Maybe you've been painting, photographing, sewing, woodworking, or working with clay for years. And yes, professional artists are warmly welcomed too.

If you created it, we'd love for you to consider sharing it for a good cause.

Every donated piece will help support Meals For The Elderly as we provide hot, nutritious meals and a friendly visit to more than 700 homebound seniors and individuals with disabilities in our community.

Help Us Fill the Gallery

100 pieces of art. One community. One very good cause.

You don't need a gallery résumé or a professional studio. You simply need something you've created and a willingness to share it.

Complete the submission form by September 15 and help us fill the gallery with creativity, generosity, and community spirit.

Your art can do more than brighten a wall. It can help put a meal on someone's table.
