For Chasity, giving back to her community is giving back to family. “San Angelo is our family. We are all connected, we are all neighbors…if we are all connected, it’s a blessing to be able to serve our community,” she says.
Being named a 2025 Community Champion is a true honor. Chasity is inspired by past and present champions and grateful to contribute to San Angelo’s legacy of servant leaders.
Chasity and her husband operate The Chicken Farm Art Center, Inn at the Art Center, Gallery & Gift Shop, and recently launched The Roger Allen Foundation. She serves on the boards of Downtown San Angelo, Leadership San Angelo, and the San Angelo Performing Arts Center, and contributes to Plein Air Texas and international Ceramics Weekend. A committed parishioner at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Chasity enjoys supporting local festivals and events.
Her guiding scripture is always close to her heart: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” She shares a special memory of her 4-year-old son singing it at school, now her updated mantra: “I can do all things, my God will help me. I can do all things. God will make me strong. Huhh!”
Fun fact: After three years of owning the farm, Chasity recently threw her first pottery vase—discovering a little inner artist along the way, exactly the kind of creativity the Farm inspires in everyone who visits.
