Sarah Boyette

News Anchor/Reporter - KLST

If you’ve watched KLST News, you’ve likely seen Sarah Boyette’s familiar face. But what you may not see on-air is the heart she brings to every story, and to her community.

Sarah has spent the last two years reporting in San Angelo. In that time, she’s witnessed both the challenges and the compassion that shape our city. “San Angelo is a place where folks look out for one another,” she shares. “Giving back matters to me because this community welcomed me, supported me, and inspired me. I want to return that same care in any way I can.”

Sarah gives back not only through her reporting, but by volunteering with the Honor Flight of the Permian Basin, an experience she says deeply moved her and fueled her passion for service. Through her coverage, she’s also helped share the mission of organizations like Meals For The Elderly, amplifying the kindness happening in our community every day.

When asked what it means to be named a 2025 Community Champion, Sarah calls it a blessing. “It reminds me that what I do, both in the newsroom and in the community can make an impact when done with care and kindness.”

Favorite Scripture: Philippians 4:13 — “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.”
