Trey Holmes

For Trey, giving back is about gratitude and responsibility. “I’ve been blessed by San Angelo, the Concho Valley, and West Texas, and I believe we all have a role to play in making it stronger for the next generation,” he says.

Being named a 2025 Community Champion is a humbling honor for Trey. “It makes me proud to represent the values and people who make West Texas such a special place,” he reflects.

Trey’s community involvement spans leadership roles across the region. He serves as Chair of the Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) Board, President of the San Angelo Pachyderm Club, President of the YMCA Board, and participates on the Concho Valley Workforce Development Board and Concho Cadre. He is also actively engaged in faith-based outreach and nonprofit initiatives that support families, youth, and economic growth across the Concho Valley.

A verse that guides Trey’s service is Hebrews 12:1–2:
“Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus…”
This scripture reminds him that faithful, quiet work has lasting impact when focused on the bigger picture.

Outside of work and volunteering, Trey and his wife Tara are eagerly preparing to welcome their baby boy in January 2026. He enjoys shooting sports, biking, kayaking, and spending time outdoors, embracing life as a proud Texan who values faith, family, freedom, and the community he calls home.
