Good art is welcome, too!
Have you ever painted something you were proud of? Built a piece of pottery? Taken a beautiful photograph? Created something that's been sitting in your home waiting for the right place to shine?
This is your chance to share it.
Bad Art for a Good Cause was inspired by Meals For The Elderly supporter Janet Ridgeway, an amateur artist who wondered how many others in our community have artwork they'd love to donate to help a great cause.
While this campaign is designed to encourage amateur artists, hobbyists, and creative makers to participate, professional artists are warmly welcomed as well. Whether your artwork hangs in galleries or hangs in your hallway, we'd love for you to be part of this special project.
Our goal is to collect 100 donated works of original art to be displayed and auctioned during the Meals For The Elderly Dueling Pianos Fundraiser this October.
Every piece donated helps provide hot, nutritious meals to approximately 600 homebound seniors each weekday.
Who Can Participate?

Artwork Guidelines
We welcome original, family-friendly artwork, including:
- Paintings
- Drawings
- Photography
- Mixed media
- Fiber art
- Pottery
- Wood art
- Glass art
- Other original creations
Artwork should:
- Be original.
- Be family-friendly.
- Be ready to display.
- Weigh no more than 10 pounds.
- Be no larger than approximately 36" × 48", unless approved in advance.

Artist Recognition
Every participating artist will receive:
- Recognition at the event
